CB2, SS, and ST Needs To Be Addressed If The Panthers Want A SB

I'd be more worried about DE. CJ is washed up and Peppers is declining. We're one injury away from putting Short at DE again. Addison can't provide ALL THE pressure and sacks from the outside.

Cox has been looking pretty decent.  I'm actually more worried about DT with Butler & Love both missing so much time.  Fortunately Crume has stepped up and looked quite good...

What games have you been watching? In super limited snaps Pepp made 2 quarterbacks poo themdelves 2 weeks in a row.  A declining peppers is still better than 90% of what the league has

You're a homer. No, it's not 90% better than what the league has to offer. Unlike most in here, I watched how Peppers played against Minnesota, Dallas, and Detroit.

When a rookie RB levels you and one of the worst OTs in the league pancakes you, it's a sign of decline. He's still very serviceable but the end is near. To claim otherwise is laughable.

The guy who is calling Worley a "good CB" is calling someone a homer...

Worley showed some improvement over the course of his rookie season but I was still uncomfortable penciling him in as a starter for this season. Practice reports were positive but so far this preseason hasn't been so promising.

Not gonna lie, I'm afraid we might be looking at the Devin Funchess equivalent at CB. Hopefully we can scheme around it, but with our uncertainties at safety I'm a little nervous about our secondary once again.

Don't start. You backtracked so fast the moment he settled so keep it over there.

I just find it comical how hard you nut hug the guy. Anyone says anything about the guy that isn't glowingly positive and you come running like a Little League mom.

You'll bash the poo out of other players but no one can utter a peep about your beloved Worley.

No, I'm just dispelling the ridiculous hate (the very same you joined in) that he's receiving over miniscule plays. Funny, he got ripped on for two specific plays but where was the praise for his open field tackle that prevented a first down or his coverage that resulted in a sack (being all over Hurns)?

Ironic, no? This place will defend Benji to the death over an 8 yard catch (TAKE THAT KB HATERZ!!!!!) but if Worley blows one coverage assignment he's a bust.

Save it.

You bash the poo out of guys like Peppers who will be in the HOF and KB who has been our consistently best WR but you'll defend Worley tooth and nail eho hasn't proven anything at the NFL level even when he's getting beat like a red headed stepchild.

It's odd to say the least.

KB gets horsefed and hasn't proved poo in clutch situations. Time and time again, he's provided nothing but garbage time stats. Get back to me when he actually puts on consistent performances where he doesn't disappear when we fall behind.

As for Peppers, if you can't see the decline in his play then you're blind. This will likely be his final season for a reason. Call it what you want.

You're in no place to speak. You've just been waiting for a blown assignment to talk trash about Worley.

KB gets force fed for a reason. He and Cam have chemistry and Cam trusts him. You can take that one up with Cam if you'd like.

Of course Peppers isn't the same player. He's damn near 40. I've spent the entire offseason cautioning Panthers fans to not have ridiculous expectations for him this season. But, he's still a legit starting caliber DE and he'll prove it.

I'm not waiting on anything out of Worley other than him to show that he's an NFL caliber CB. I absolutely hope he does. I just want what's best for the Panthers. I've been wrong about players before and I'll be wrong again about players in the future. So will every coach, scout, and GM present, past, and future.

But seriously, what's your deal with Worley? Like I said, you'll bash the shot out of guys who have proven far more at the NFL level and blindly defend Worley no matter how bad he looks.
