Liverpool with a magnificent performance for the first 75 minutes, then concede 2 goals late. 5-2 going into the second leg.

Cannot continue to allow teams back into games. Especially with the buzzsaw awaiting if they make it to the final.

Totally pulling for Liverpool to win this thing now.

hats off to bayern in that tie. they were very unlucky not to go through. madrid had huge mistakes at the back on both the kimmich goals, but nothing like the mistakes bayern had on the asensio goal, and second benz goal. even as a madrid supporter, i can say bayern thoroughly outplayed madrid over those two legs. they dominated possession, and created countless chances. if not for some horrendous finishing, and heroics from keylor.... this tie ends up very differently. looking forward to watching zidane take the boys to another final, but the matchup with liverpool sucks. best front three in the world right now, and madrid's back line has been really bad as of late. hopefully they can outscore liverpool, in what i expect will be a 5-4 final, or something like that.

Man, I know Real is Real but Liverpool have to win this thing.  They are playing lights out (minus defensive lapses) but I really hope they come out strong and win this thing.  Love Klopp as a manager.  Seriously good vibe with Liverpool in the future.

Liverpool's defense, not counting the g-d GK tonight, was pretty darned good.  Up until Salah left the game, I thought Liverpool had the better side of the match overall.

Karius gifted them 2 and Bale made a singular spectacular play on which I couldn't rightly put the blame on ANYBODY.   C'est la vie.

I don't personally hate a player for making mistakes and even though his performance in the league in the 2nd half of the EPL season was admirable, Karius' performance tonight is unforgivable IMO.  Liverpool have GOT to upgrade at GK as priority #1 in the offseason.

And Sergio Ramos is a thug piece of poo.

Yea, Ramos knew exactly what he was doing.  He clearly tried to take him out once he got a hold of his arm.  He never let go, he held it all the way down to the ground.

watching the liverpool fan meltdown over the refs is incredibly hilarious after they hacked and slashed their way unflagged through 2 legs of city

Chock up yet another Man City fan glorying in the intentional injury of a Liverpool player.

Sad.

Sure would be nice to see the list of all those Man City players that Liverpool players intentionally injured.

What is Man City's record in Champion's League finals, btw?

More of the "dark arts" of Ramos.

And, by the way rodeo, I never once in my post above complained about the officiating.  Stop listening to the insane voices in your head and actually read what I wrote.

Relax.  Both Liverpool and City had amazing seasons.  As an Arsenal fan, I’m sure jealous.
