when they pop that stupid annoying subscription window up just close it and then proceed to open said link in incognito mode (assuming you're on google chrome)

Thanks, it's good to know.

Yeah I see the articles regardless with a different browser, I just hate the principle and having to go through extra steps.

This ish is ridiculous. Lee is our punter no question. Dude is money from wherever on the field. He could still give at minimum 3 more years of elite punting.

So if Palardy is doing the same thing, then it doesn't mean anything? OK.

You speak of at least a "minimum 3 more years of elite punting" like it's better than a minimum of at least 13 years of "elite" punting.

Because it DOESN'T mean anything. Lee is going to be our punter. This is a no story.

Michael being 10 years younger than Lee, a lefty, cheaper than Lee, averaging 48 yards a punt in preseason, and reportingly punting ball for ball with Lee this preseason doesn't mean anything to you? Interesting.

Thomas, not saying you are wrong, but where are you getting your info from? Have you attended every practice, have an "in" with the coaching staff? Just curious.

No inside info whatsoever, but it's clear as day to anyone paying attention that Lee is a complete lock for the job.

They are kickers.  Age is probably the least important determining factor.

I have doubts.

No real reason to play Lee in preseason all that much. It's not like he needs the experience.

Wouldn't they want to see how he looks in game action coming off the injury? Obviously you'd never want your punter having to make the tackle but wouldn't the coaching staff at least want to see how he handles in game pressure to ensure we don't put a corpse back there? Don't need to make the tackle but rerouting the runner could be the difference between giving up a TD or not.

Also , Andy Lee is fugging money.  I think because of the injury people forget how money he was.

I remember we were calling him the MVP on our team and the best punter in the league by far. Never seen punter better at placing a ball exactly where he wants it like Lee is able to

A lot of kickers/punters are usually able to kick well through their late 30s, so I wouldn't have imagined Lee becoming easily expendable.  Watching him when healthy last year, he seemed to have an uncanny accuracy, and his leg strength was no joke either...  that being said, the only punt I recall from him in the PS opener was shanked horribly, and Palardy has been good enough that I didn't really even notice when it wasn't Lee out there.  I'll put it like this...  theyre both better than Nortman lol.

Ron said he intended on getting both punters in the game against TN but there were only a couple of opportunities. Lee will start against the Jags.

Rob also keeps saying there is a competition for that position. But I think Lee ultimately wins it.

This competition is definitely closer than the kicker competition.
