taken by one of my customers in Lexington, SC- very cool! Definitely was not this impressive in Charlotte

I didnt take my camera with me, I didnt have the proper filter. However, I sat next to a couple of guys and when it got close to time for the eclipse, they broke out the big guns. (I don't see how to get the photo to rotate from my phone. It displays correctly before uploading.)

The younger one is named Kevin Smith and he was nice enough to text me a photo after.

 

That is not at all how it looked in person. During totality, it was super cool. It was like the moon had an aura. It exceeded my expectations. If you were not in the path of totality, make sure to travel in 2024. It really is worth it. Usually photos look cooler than the experience, this time the opposite was true.
