watching a live video of it on youtube from Kentucky . When the moon completely covered the sun, it looked really cool. Like a ring of light around it and something that look like a flare?

I'm up near Baltimore so we don't get the full eclipse here. Just went outside for a smoke break and to see the eclipse. Bunch of people here had the glasses. It's still very sunny out. Glanced up at the sun, couldn't see anything different. Looked through the glasses, seemingly 75% of the sun was covered. Very strange and cool. Strange how sunny it was with that much of the sun covered.

I'm here in Hopkinsville in the flesh. Not visiting it's my city born and raised. I'll upload  a picture. It's some of the craziest stuff I've seen in life. Just Wow!!!

In my buddies defense, he was on the jump and the 82nd posted the pic. Afterwards they said it was not taken during the eclipse. He did say it was eerily dark but meh, 82nd probably should've led with the fact that the pic was fake news.
