Can Bradberry make us forget about Norman?

I really think he can. So far he is way ahead of Josh at the same point in his career, and it isn't close.

Heck, I would say Worley is also.

I love Josh, but these two guys have really developed quickly. I suspect Wilks can take much of that credit.

I'm really very very concerned about losing Wilks to another team as a HC at some point. He may be our best coach.

I have an excellent source that told me J-No would love to be back in Carolina one day.

I've felt this has been a possibility since the tag was rescinded. He needed to go get paid but his heart is here and I see him back just like Captain and Pep.

I'm looking at teaching a football study course for beginners (i.e., casual fans who've watched the game for years but are interested in learning it at a deeper level) at USCB this upcoming year. It's not a serious thing - basically an unpaid adult education seminar for, honestly, bored Sun City retirees and semi-retirees trying to get away from their wives for an afternoon - but maybe you'd be interested in attending? It's a lot harder to hate people when you know then in person, and you might learn something about this game we both love/hate. Do you live in the area?

I was being facetious. I just disagreed with your post. No more than that.

Yep, given that JNo turns 30 this year, it's hard to think of a sane scenario where he returns, given that Worley is cheap, well liked, and also a baller.

Josh won't be in Washington for more than 2 more years, and he could very well be playing solid ball into his late 30s. Honestly, very possible Washington gets rid of him after this season.

If he's willing to come back for cheap and help ease the brunt of Cam's next contract, it would be great.  A lot of dominos have to fall, including him still playing at a level that still makes him desirable.  I do not doubt his time in Washington will be relatively short lived.

Based on your posts here, I wouldn't drive across the street to attend your "seminar".

Frankly, I have strong doubts it even exists other than in your imagination.

And how would that play out? The only way he comes back is if he rides out his 5-year contract and then hits the free agency and lands back in Carolina? Or is there a way for him to come back earlier?

He won't be in Washington the 5 years. Would be way too expensive for them.

The Redskins will pay up to $37 million during the first two years of the deal. Norman’s base salary in 2018, $13.5 million, is guaranteed for injury only or if he’s still on the roster by the fifth day of the new league year. It will allow Washington to re-evaluate his play during an offseason in which the Coastal Carolina product will turn 30 with a cap hit of $17 million.

The final two years of the deal do not have any guarantees. Norman currently will have a base salary of $11 million in 2019 with a cap hit of $14.5 million and a $12 million base salary in 2020 with a $15.5 million cap hit.

So pretty much if they are going to cut ties early, it will most likely happen after 2018.

Love Josh and will always remember him when he played as a Panther, but the season moves on and along with that comes new players.  Good or bad, I'll give any player in a Panther uniform a chance.  I do love how quickly Bradberry and Worley has come to.  Really excited for the 2017 season.

Well, they do wear the same uniform and the same number, so that's...quite literally true.

But from a football perspective, it's night and day. One of them changed games with his talent and instinct and made a middling DC look good. The other reminds me of a broken condom machine in a strip club bathroom, straight up dispensing first downs for free. And when it comes to reading an opposing QB, he genuinely can't tell sh*t from shinola.

Norman took a while to match his own potential. Like many a brilliant player who lives by his wits, he took time to adjust to his level. I can tell you I've seen the same thing with kids adjusting to FBS ball, say.

Badberry, on the other hand, has already reached his ceiling. His only saving grace is being better than Worseley.

Jesus H Mary Mother and Joseph.

That was an intense blast of bullshit.  Impressive, but you just don't have the chops to troll here.
