We'll see how Luck compares to Cam with that O-line

I remember the days of vigorously debating about Cam Newton versus the sure-thing, Andrew Luck. People all over, including Panthers fans, were proclaiming that Luck was some kind of football demigod of a QB, and Cam was simply a flawed, running QB who would be exposed in the pocket. The sentiment of the day was that there was a gigantic gap between the two as far as skill level.

Well, some of that is still going on today, but the way that their careers have played out so far, especially the 2015 season, you don't hear as much chatter that Luck is great and Cam is not, but most of us know that Luck is still considered the future GOAT---at least a GOAT, and Newton, just a goat.

Well we're getting ready to see how otherworldly Luck is now that his line is deteriorating.

"Coach Chuck Pagano told reporters Thursday that center Ryan Kelly, the team's 2016 first-round pick and arguably its best offensive lineman, will need surgery on his foot."

Now when our line was having issues last year, people focused on the fact that Cam was not good. I guarantee you that if their GM can't get some legit help in the next three weeks, what I'll refer to as Luck "apologism" will make its presence known at multiple points within the next six months. And I'm not saying that some of it won't be justified. But there was more to Cam's woes also.

To me, I see two QBs with a lot of upside, but two QBs that have been far from perfect. I kind of feel sorry for Luck though...kind of. But I certainly am tired of the Luck apologists, especially the ones that always seem to poo on Cam.

I'm willing to help though. I have a good idea:

Let's offer the Colts Gradkowski...

You already know Luck will go blameless. He's a media darling and fans eat that sh*t up like dumbasses who can't think for themselves. Luck is similar to Philip Rivers to me. Rack of a bunch of meaningless stats and stat pad. I don't need to see anything, I already know Luck (while a good QB), is a SEVERELY overrated QB. People always blame his weapons, coach, GM, or O-line. And while that may be legit excuses, Luck still makes a bunch of dumb mistakes and is turnover prone. Cam simply does not receive the same national excuse treatment.

What always gets me about this debate is that when Luck "fails" to lead his team to success, it's everyone's fault but his according to the media. But when Cam "fails" to lead his team to success, it's his fault and his fault alone.

In other words, Luck always gets the benefit of the doubt and Cam never does. I don't understand why. I'm not one of those people who sees race issues in everything but it's poo like that makes me question it myself whether Cam is discriminated against.

Yeah they'll keep making excuses for him .. Even when Cam succeeds people will still point to his flaws and what he's not doing right because alot of other nfl fans don't like cam for whatever reasons and the media will continue to keep painting him in a negative light because it generates clicks and views.

The other NFL fans always make excuses, so even if we win a SB this year there will still be people bitching and moaning about whatever scraps of negativity they can find about Cam because it suits their beliefs and agendas. Remeber in 2015 when people kept saying we had an easy schedule and the so called good teams we beat were just having a "down year?" You cant win against them, at one point you just have to think fug em and just be proud of your team and qb despite all the bs coming out of haters mouths.

Rivers is legit man. Dude has crap receivers, except for one who keeps getting hurt.

His defense always craps the bed late in games too.

Shameful that Eli has two rings and Rivers has none. Twice the QB.

I remember when Panther fans would look at how Indy was doing everything to make Luck succeed by surrounding him with weaponzzzzz and complain about what the Panthers werw doing.

Really ironic in retrospect now.

It's not a race issue but a agenda. If you don't do what the MSM wants they will brand you. Cam was supposed to be a failure and a thug and he has resisted. Luck was supposed to be the next Tom Brady but hasn't. They want change there minds about either they will only put out fake news to twist there agenda.
