Hey there - Introduce Yourself

Hello All,

Name is Spencer, been a majority lurker for the last 2-3 years, with the occasional post, mainly because The Huddle was blocked at my work because "lingerie/bikini."  Been a Panthers fan since they came into existence, but sadly have only attended 1 game in person (Michael Turners 3 TD game).

Just recently celebrated my work unblocking the huddle by posting a thread in the Panthers forum even though it wasn't Panthers related.

Glad to be here!

Long time lurker of this forum. Have always felt this was the best Panthers related forum. Been a fan since inception. Hate to admit that I was a Cowboys fan before that. Jerry Jones made it easy to transition over once we got our Panthers. :)

Glad to be here. Hope I can contribute in some way.

Heya- been a diehard Panther for many years. Born in Boone, raised in Shelby, went to UNC Charlotte, and now I'm back to work in Shelby. I heavily follow the Panthers twitter talk and have lurked on CH for a couple years and after Igo kept twisting arms on twitter, I decided to join.

Been lurking for about 3 years or so here.

My first game was the inaugural home game against the St. Louis Rams in Death Valley.  I was 14.  We got destroyed, it took about 7 hours to get home, but I've been hooked ever since. Been to more games than I count.

Nice name

It's really great to read through this thread and see some of the lurkers and long time posters come back. Some of these posts about the old tailgates and Toys for Tots are really hittin' me right in the feelz.

I too miss the good old days of hangin in the lounge all day jokin with @nc biscuit, Salty, @Jangler @SmootsDaddy89, @Kurb, @Jase, and other crazies. Tailgates with @mush, Ranuccis BBQ, @MadHatter puking up jello shots, @Kyle82 and his wife, Bill Morgan and his family, Cat, CosmoGirl, the list goes on and on and on. Back when we had sponsored tailgates and begged for $$ in the old lot that is now a park.

This forum is not just a place to come post your shitty opinions on the Panthers, its a community of awesome people that come together with 1 thing in common- our love for the Panthers :) I have more friends in the Panthers community because of the interwebz than I do because of simply being a local fan.

Still have my Huddle Tailgater Tshirt, a little tighter than it used to be- but still rockin it! Looking forward to a great season with all of you this year. Maybe we should consider bringing back Huddle Jamz....I know it didn't come together last time around, but it seems we have a lot of local users here in the Charlotte area!

I just came for the midget porn. Everyone better be glad the Panthers went to the Super Bowl in 03 or this place could be posting cheap high quality pictures of boobs and midgets right now.

    • With a night to sleep on it I'm now firmly of the opinion that we keep letting Bryce improve the rest of the season and enter next years camp with 2 new additions to the QB room. One being a new veteran and the other being another rookie QB we can bring along slowly. If Bryce's ceiling is game manager so be it. In that instance it will be majorly beneficial to the team as a whole to have another QB waiting in the wings and use the other as trade bait. But we've got to be smart about this and think ahead. I cannot stress enough that we cannot again sit on our hands with the most important position. Meanwhile we've also been continuing to build up the rest of the roster in the meantime. Then maybe we will be ready to compete for the division and a playoff spot. That is the best path forward for this franchise given where we are and the mistakes we've made that should serve as a learning tool of what not to do.
