Anyone know anything about attending university in the UK?

I'm about to finish up at App State and I plan on going to grad school in a few years.  Very very interested in doing this abroad, my dream would be University of Durham or  St. Andrews.  Also interested in University of Liverpool, Leeds University, University of Edinburgh, University of Aberdeen and University of Sheffield just to name a few.  Really I'm interested in anywhere, a lot will depend on where I can get accepted at.  I'll hopefully be graduating with around a 3.5 . Majoring in history so that's what my graduate degree will probably be in.  Also interested in topics such as econ (Marxian influence especially), poly sci, etc.  Stuff like dat.  I didn't know if anyone had any experience with attending a school abroad.  I think it would be awesome and you can get some grad degrees there in just a year.  Wouldn't be a long term thing or anything

My cousin graduated from Georgia Tech, and did a year abroad at a sister school: https://www.strath.ac.uk/. I went and visited him while he was enrolled. Glasgow is awesome, Scotland as a whole is awesome. Tons of history everywhere you look, the public transportation system is amazing and affordable, and you can be anywhere in the UK in a matter of hours. Weekend trips to mainland Europe are cheap as well. Their museums put ours to shame, probably because they filled them during an age when it was okay to steal stuff from other cultures because Colonialism. Sucks, but makes for awesome museums. Edinburgh would be awesome as well, but pricier. Good luck!

Yeah, I spent like 3-4 weeks in Scotland this summer and absolutely fell in love so that inspired my interest in possibly doing this.

I went to a small college in London after I dropped out of the University of Miami. I don't remember the name but my History class was 3 people (including me) and took place in the professors office. But it was very interesting to get the perspective of History from a foreign perspective. I don't think I even got a transcript from them.

Maybe it was all a fever dream but I remember the hot blonde. It was probably a fever dream.
