Hope he's not rusty as fug by the time he does play in a game. He'll have gone over 8 months not playing in a live game and will have to do so with new receiving options as well.

There is nothing in the article suggesting this. It says they want him to play in 3rd preseason game and they are currently on track for game one.

Meh, this is just something to talk about with little to no meaningful news otherwise at the moment.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Anything else is just being overly dramatic.

Disagree, think there are things that can reasonably interpreted that way.

I too disagree. It says they are expecting him to play game one. That's the opposite of preparing fans for him not playing game one. 

I was responding to the person suggesting the team was preparing us for him not playing game 1, not about preseason games. I still think there's a decent chance he sees a preseason series.
