Can we stop saying alarmist bullshit like this without a little bit of data to back it up? It's not like he's on Reggie Ray's concussion count.

Now that there's a concussion protocol that allows players to fully recover before being sent back out there, the lasting effects might dramatically decrease. A decade ago, half the players got concussed every week and went right back in, now they are supposed to retire after 2? 

I'm sure there has to be some middle ground.

Another concussion may not end his career but it would almost certainly shut him down for the season if it happened this year. That would be a pretty big deal.
