Thanks captain obvious.

Could Taylor Moton ultimately win out the job? Or better yet, is he a better fit for the job? These questions answered and more in my article below:

Anyways, if you take the chance to read the article, you'd discover that I evaluate a rookies performance and compare it to traits shown in college and see if they align. If they match up, it's highly likely the player will be successful at the next level.

OP wrote the article. He needs hits. One preseason game isn't the basis to judge. At least that's what half of you stated about Shula's play calling with CMC.

It's not just one pre season game. Go back and look at his college career and listen to what people are saying about him on the practice field. This guy is the real deal.

Sounds good.  He'll start the season as a backup for sure.

Do you actually watch the games? Can you show me one play where Moton has gotten his ass kicked, either from college or his short time in the pros? If it exists, I haven't seen it yet and I have watched  3 of his college games from start to finish while just focussing on Moton's snaps. And if you can't, don't you think it's kind of a bold statement to proclaim he has no chance to start?

I'm about to start creating threads where I pull only gifs of DWilliams blowing folks up and gifs of Moton getting ragdolled.

Moton is awesome and will likely be the future, but why are we pretending that Williams is the equivalent of Remmers and writing him off? There's literally a one round difference between the two in terms of being draft prospects.

Then again, ppl still find ways to devalue JStew, KB, and Cam so why am I surprised :/

This thread will age nicely once  week 1 rolls out. Dude is on ever bandwagon trail , spewing out threads to get his pies .

He ain't beating Williams unless injury happens.

I have actually seen DW play regular season games in the NFL and he was  pretty good , having another year down will only improve his game

I'm sure the coaching staff will bow to the judgement of Sanjay and nctarheel instead of trusting their own eyes and years of experience.

I just want the best RT.   I don't see why people are upset that Moton could start over DW if he is better.

We should be excited that :

1. It's not Remmers or Byron Bell

2. It's an actual competition.

3. Whoever starts would probably be our best RT is probably 6-8 years.

Doesn't matter, this Coaching staff loves Vets.  They'll start Williams for sure.  Thanks.

Everybody says that but they have indeed started and played rookies. KB and Funchess are both prime examples of that and Trai Turner is a prime example of an O-lineman starting as a rookie. If Moton is good enough, he will start. That's why they drafted him.

Ah, my how we forget the receivers they had to start above KB?  Oh none?  Good talk.  Also, Funchess did not start in 2015. LOLZ.  Trai Turner started, because they had no one else at RG.  Andrew Norwell started later on when Amini got hurt.  Amini doesn't get hurt, they don't start Norwell.  This coaching staff loves Vets.  Stop thinking Moton will start.  Rivera and his staff has left little benefit of the doubt anymore.

And BTW, Andrew Norwell started 9 games as an UDFA. If an UDFA could start 9 games as a rookie, does anybody really believe they won't start their 3rd round draft pick?

Kinda a bad example since Norwell didn't start until injuries happened.
