Well, no one ever said going to LSU made you smart. Leonard Fournette says the NFL is easy.

Fournette has never been short on confidence, however, I think he's speaking on the transition to the NFL, not the competition. He's just not a very good speaker. I'd also like to hear the question asked.

"It's a lot slower than I really thought," Fournette said, per NFL.com. "That's how I've been since I first got into the NFL. A lot of people were like, 'It's going to be fast.' But by me playing in the SEC that kind of helped me a lot. I think to me it was really easy."

The SEC consistently puts out a high number of NFL players, mostly on defense. Just think about the speed he's  played against in practice. Adams, Kwon, DBo, Duke, Beckwith, White, Mills, Neal. All of those guys are draft picks, and thats not all of  them, just the ones off the top of my head.

When you practice and play against the fastest defenders in football, speed doesn't surprise you.

Dammit Leonard, pump the brakes kid.  Geez.

And yet he gets tackled by a safety in a one on one battle where he supposed to run the guy over. Brandon King a 24 year old SS that plays for New England. Keep dreaming Fournette you got a long way to go. I can't locate the clip somebody please find it for me, Fournette runs with his shoulder low like he is going to run King over but gets wrapped up and slung down to the ground by a 200 lb SS.

He looked decent in some of those runs. He's a pure power guy though which is more difficult in pro obviously as the opponent is big and fast too.  He's not looking like a Bettis type in terms of also having great feet and such.
