Should we pump the breaks on the Byrd enthusiasm just a bit?

In an earlier post in this thread, I said I wanted to see him do it against the ones.  He got Coleman for a TD today. 

 

I am going to overreact and go full steam ahead on the hype train now.

He can ball, but he's not going to be producing much if at all.

Cam has no problem spreading the ball around (see 2015 for proof). And it seemed to me that Shula already created some plays just for Byrd, hence his solid performance. If he can play, he will get his.

He hasn't produced yet in the pros, and he barely did anything in college.

 

I have no expectations for him. It would be nice if he could be useful against starters,

He has never got a shot during the season and getting in the rhythm. So we don't know the magnitude of his playmaking ability. but he for sure has it. It sounds silly because of the personality differences but he has a little Desean Jackson in him. His release and finding the ball in the air while fuging flying down the field in a difference maker. Not many people have his agility and speed. 

Im not a fan of him returning punts or kicks. I think he is strictly a WR.

Why is that. I think he looks solid in punt returns.
