It's against the Falcons scrubs so you may want to dial it back a bit.

It's against the Broncos back ups, but Mitch is playing with his back ups too. You can't deny the throws the guy has made so far. That 18yd out that he put on the money while on the run is something a lot of starters can't do. A good throw is a good throw, no matter who it's against.

Sorry, Broncos scrubs.  Being the best turd in the toilet still makes it turd.   All it shows is he needs to move up the debt chart against stiffer competition.  If he does it against 1st team players then I will join in with you.

OK, explain to me exactly how an accurate throw against scrubs wouldn't be an accurate throw against starters. I could understand it if you made the case that the WR's couldn't get open  against the Broncos starters but a good throw is a good throw...period.

It was a good throw.  But temper it with a smidgen of reality of the quality of the competition is all I'm saying.  If you want to crown his ass then crown him!

I'm thinking Mr. Snow just isn't huge on preseason performance.

He's a QB, not a LT. Regardless of the competition, he still has to make the exact same reads and the exact same throws. And again, he's playing behind a back up line and with back up WR's too, so it's all pretty equal.

No, I don't get too hyped over these scrimmages  It's a good way to judge depth but that's about it.  I just get a kick out of how hyped up you guys get over what is essentially practice reps.

Then by all means crown him.

I'm not crowning him, but if you can't admit that he looks about as good as a a rookie QB can look in his first reps, then you'e the one with the problem. You mentioned turds, but you should have said that Glennon was the turd in this particular bowl.

The fact is, you can tell a lot about QB's in the pre season. I remember watching Tom Brady in his first pre season and it was obvious that he could play in this league.

Alvin Kamara looks as legit as I've heard about in camp. Only thing that will hold him back is depth in front of him.

Defense looks good, but it's Osweiller.

Obligatory Ted Ginn drop.

Fug the saints, but I will admit y'all got a good one in Kamara. He was one of the best RB's to come through Knoxville in several years.

Did I not say it was a good throw?  The discussion was about Turbisky was it not?   Glennon is and has always been a turd so what's your point?  I don't have a problem because I don't cheer for any of them.  You seem to have a problem because I don't share your enthusiasm about players not on my favorite team?  Anyway, I'm done debating about these scrubs.   Enjoy your Turdisky party.

He looked pretty good tonight. Good wiggle and power. Speed to turn the corner. Split him out wide a couple times. I think he'll have a decent year.

I'm the most real rival fan on this board. I didn't say team, I said offense...our historic ranking backs that up. And best I remember, we lit up every defense, including yours.

Talk about my momma, talk about us choking, don't talk about our offense.

You are no apple roofing guy.

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
