well at least we know for sure it's not the ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL and the lateral/medial meniscus, so we'll definitely see him back this year.

Meniscus does not equal ligament. The meniscus is a cartilage pad that essentially acts as a shock absorber within your knee. Some meniscus tears can heal on their own, others require surgery. The good news is that even meniscus injuries that require surgery can usually be handled arthroscopically and recovery time is generally pretty quick.

I know way too much about knee injuries. I've had several.

Just wondering, has any athlete torn all of those?

The RB Lattimore?

Falcons had a DT named Peria Jerry that had incredible first step, then was never the same after his knee injury, would not be surprised if he tore every one of his.

Daunte Culpepper tore three, I think ACL, PCL and MCL.  Pretty sure it was Chris Gamble who hit him

Yep, it was Gamble.

Also, Willis McGahee at Miami. Still the most gruesome football related injury I've ever seen on live television. I don't think I'll ever forget that.

just out of curiosity, why is the ACL the most common tear?
