What had a lot of us upset was the fact we wasted a 2nd rounder on him in the 1st place. DG said he had a 1st round grade on him which is even worse. Soooooo many good WR's were on the board still when we took Ealy

You can't hit on every pick. Ealy was a LATE 2nd rounder. What do you think the hit percentage on late 2nd rounders is? It's not good. Ealy had tremendous upside when we took him and that clearly showed in the Super Bowl and a few other games here and there that he played well in. Ultimately he just couldn't put it all together and mature enough to realize his potential. Was well worth a late 2nd at the time. You never know how a player will transition from college into the NFL or the reality of life for that matter, and I'd say it was well worth that pick to find out. 

I'm a DG supporter but I look at his moves logically and with objectivity. There are DG picks I hated and don't understand at all then and now, but Ealy just isn't one of them. There are other DG moves, like rescinding the Norman tag, I don't like either. But all in all he did a very good job overall of managing the cap and setting up the roster as a whole.

Not really. The guy just had the game of his life in the biggest game of his life. Did the Giants' front office suck because  it was David Tyree who caught that ball off his helmet and not a 1st round pick or high priced free agent?
