Why are there so many Clemson fans where did they come from

I thought it was weird, too, but I understand because my in-laws are clempsun nuts.  The kid led the to their first title in in 35 years, he's a God in SC.

I honestly can't say I'm surprised over all though. I mean according to a statistic Deshaun Watson is the top selling jersey in both North and South Carolina so far this season.

On a side note, apparently tons of Olsen jerseys being sold in Ohio.

I don't mind Clemson fans coming to cheer Watson since he plays in the AFC and in Houston.

My problem resides with the NC State fans that just looooooooooove Russell Wilson. That agitates me more than anything considering he didn't even finish school there.

college football is way bigger than the NFL in SC considering the state has two nationally significant programs which have both been around for a thousand years.  it's hard for the panthers to make a dent.

This is more than just SC since as I said NC and SC both have Watson as the top selling jersey as of the date of June 12th. SC is largely a Panther fan base. You do still do have your fans of the Cowboys or Steelers but they aren't too common until you get into the more southern counties of the state.

I jumped the Clemson bandwagon only in hopes that they beat Alabama.  Now that they have done that.... F Clemson!

Every time I hear Dabo on the radio, I have to run to the shitter.  He really grates my nerves.  I really am hoping that they fall apart now that their roster has been cleaned out and go back to being 'Bama's bottom bitch.  

I like Watson and Boulware.. but those morons in the stands need to take their stupid Clemson orange shirts off and use them as toilet paper like the rest of the country does.

Last time a Clemson QB went in the 1st round it was Steve Fuller, almost 40 years ago. I'll bet a good number of Clemson fans have switched their NFL allegiance from the Panthers to the Texans.
