I feel ya. I still believe that Steve Smith, Julius Peppers and the boys would have whipped the 2015 team's ass. They were relatively young and tough. If you just look at a side by side comparison, I just can't see how the 2015 team wins.

Major ? at LT, SS and significant ? at RT, DE, WR. This team could go 14-2 or 6-10.

Anything's possible, but we need to see a good number of these guys against actual NFL competition when the games count.  
Practice is great but it's impossible to simulate an actual game.  Not to say I'm not optimistic though, because I am.

Best overall team is still a hard sell, though.

I think Funchess has potential going into his third year. I've already said Shepard's legit since March, so I don't expect that to change. Samuel when healthy will be a huge weapon, and so is McCaffrey. Olsen's a WR of his own right, and Kelvin Benjamin can still beast when motivated.

It's a group with a lot of unanswered questions, but one with a poo-ton of potential.

Shepard legit? He has 30 receptions in 4  years, and no offense, but you're hardly the most objective observer.

Samuel, when healthy

McCaffrey is exciting but a rook

Benjamin, when motivated

That's a lot of ifs eight there.

Then you have a QB coming off shoulder surgery, who will probably be OK, still probably is much different than simply OK.

M Kalil is supposed  to return to his form of 4 years ago. 

Think there are more question marks for the offense that you want to admit. Sure, everything could work out, we'll find out soon enough.

 

Still think your offense starts slow simply because cam hasn't been able throw to his new toys, it's going to take  a few games for everything to come together.

I believe in our offense. People thought the offense was going to suck in 2015 too, even before KB got hurt and right up until week 1.
