How concerned are you with the safety position?

You don't go from 10 int's to completely being awful for no reason.

He didn't have 10 int's, and yes that can happen when you're not that good to begin with and lose a all-pro corner who didn't need safety help, which allowed you to focus on one side of the field.

I did find this interesting from a Cleveland site:

5 Browns players whose stock has declined since the start of camp

5. S Calvin Pryor: I see where Pryor is headed, and it’s down the same exact path that veteran Rahim Moore was on last year before he was cut by the team. Despite having the most experience on the team at safety, and Ed Reynolds going down with an early camp injury that’ll keep him out six weeks, the team’s top three players at safety have been Derrick Kindred, Ibraheim Campbell, and Jabrill Peppers. During Friday’s scrimmage, Pryor also missed a tackle as the last line of defense, leading to a 37-yard run by Isaiah Crowell.

In hindsight, cutting an inconsistent Tre Boston on a rookie contract isn't looking like a good move...

we'll pick up some vet scraps come final cuts I would hope.

He had to go, his play was just so bad here, and this is coming from the biggest UNC homer you will ever meet. there will be a few leftovers after roster cuts, we should be fine.

Dezmen Southward was rated higher than Tre was coming out... maybe that translates.

LJ Mccray ... is a HARD hitter, which I love.. but aside from special teams I don't know how reliable he could be.

That Parms kid....jury still out.

Colin Jones... Special Teams Ace with speed..he's good as a 3rd string option.

That being said, YES!!!! .....

Lazy answer... convert Shaq. Dude needs to see the field as much as possible. FACTS!!

Im going to rage if I have to see colin fuging jones out on D for a single play this season.
