Blackout Issue?

I was looking through my TV Guide on DISH here in Southport, NC and noticed that it said the preseason game against Houston tomorrow would be blacked out in my area.  It is not on any local channels either.  What gives?

its bullshit thats what it is. I have NFL gamepass and it also says blacked out

Preseason games are always blacked out outside of the local viewing area.

If dish doesn't carry it go to wal mart and get a cheap over the air antenna - I am planning on watching it 2 morrow night via my ota signal .  Advance this link to 7 pm Wednesday - WSFX is carrying the game

Thing is I watched every pre-season game last year in this same area with the same provider.  Also, every regular season game comes on local television here.  Makes no sense unless they changed something recently.

I already have that station, but it is not showing the game in the guide at 7:30.  Last season it came on that station during the preseason.

We get these threads every year. It seems like the guide on some TV providers are inaccurate when it comes to these preseason games. The list of participating stations can be found here: 

www.panthers.com/news/television.html

If the station is on the list, the preseason game will be on.

If you can watch it locally, then it will be blacked out on NFL Network. At least that is my experience

Exactly. I watch it on wtvd and the guide usually says whatever the national ABC channels are showing

It should be on WSFX, but I know that Spectrum is "the exclusive cable channel of the Panthers".

Yes, it is on WSFX. Should be local in Southport.
