Curtis Samuel and Austin Duke getting extracurricular work today. 

Shepard is also out here. As is Daeshon Hall

Take from this what you will, but.....

Kaelin Clay and Russell Shepard have been the training camp standouts at WR so far.  Interesting that they are both cast offs from other teams, making our WR core look relatively mediocre.

Yeah I smell what you are stepping in and I don't like it :(

i mean Ginn had more talent but you could have lumped him into the "other teams' castoff" category as well.

It's not time to worry. Having been here, I've seen almost everyone make plays. Funchess has also stood out. Benji was distracted with his Mom's passing but has also made those plays only he can make. People are gonna hate on cast-offs, backups, and starters who struggled last year and that's fine. They are entitled to their opinions. But the only receivers who have been struggling so far in camp are the ones fighting for a roster spot anyway.

Clay and Shepard have stood out because they have brought something we haven't seen here in years, speed and shiftiness coupled with reliable hands. If anything, we should be encouraged IMHO.

I feel like Panther fans love and overrate these guys annually and if the UDFA shine has worn off they switch their allegiance to the guy killing third string DBs. Like Duke and Byrd.

It's just the psychology of fans not being able to hate what they don't know.

Not sure anyone has hyped up Duke other than a PS player.  Despite his work ethic he still has a ways to go.

It is not just Panther fans. Every team's fans latch on to an underdog or two. Happens to every team every year.
