I'm no Nostradamus, especially when it comes to football, but if today's practice, and a few last week are any indication, I've got two predictions for you:

1. At some point this year, CMC is going to complete at least one spectacular pass for a big gain or touchdown, and the receiver will be one Cameron Newton.

2. Bersin will make the 53, if not from day one, then before the bye, and if they actually use him to his full potential, he will put up numbers better than either Dickson or Funchess. If he plays all 16, he may severely traumatize ninety percent of the Huddle. Some will require mental health intervention... I mean more that they already do.

One is gonna happen, likely more than one time. The second, if Samuel doesn't get squared away ASAP, is not all that far fetched. Two different styles, particularly speed, but his 14 and 15 stats say it is plausible...if somebody bothers to throw the ball his way. Preseason games are going to be exciting this year. I saw clubs for Wednesday night for just over a hundred bucks yesterday. Might have to spring for a couple!

Yea that was the moment for me as well. I think there needs to be shapeup at QB in terms of depth behind Cam. I like what Bradberry and Worley are doing but I hope Cam will be throwing soon because DA is not a good litmus test. I no longer believe he would start for the bottom 5 teams in the NFL.

Moving up in the draft is good if you HAVE to get your guy, but if not you will be exposed in other areas.  We got Daeshon Hall and he better work out, because the 4th we used to get him coulda/woulda been Josh Dobbs.

Benjamin gets up and over Coleman for the score in red zone drills. First appearance in a few days.

Kelvin Benjamin reaches out for an impressive grab against sideline in red zone drill.

Beautiful throw and catch by Anderson to Benjamin, who got his feet down in the end zone behind Coleman.

Benjamin had Munnerlyn on him 1on1, DA puts it in the corner of the end zone and KB goes up and gets it over Coleman.

Kelvin Benjamin’s first notable play in a few days - great catch on great throw from DA in red zone.

(Moton at left guard for this play, btw)

Kelvin Benjamin with a gorgeous leaping catch for a td in RZ drills. Bit of a mismatch on Munnerlyn. Coleman came over to help but...

It's definitely Byrd and Bersin working with the second team.

Bersin sneaks behind the defense and finds a hole in the zone, easy score

Bersin finds a soft spot in end zone as Webb scrambles. Easy score.

Frazier and clay fighting for the most dropped balls of camp

Just heard a grown man yell from the crowd "Fozzy I love you." Ummm... The heat may be getting to people. Feels like 100 degrees on field.

Darrel Young gets the check down for the score. If a FB makes the team, it's him.

Garrett Gilbert scrambles for a touchdown. You read that right.

Hurry up offense now.

DA as QB

1) CMC checkdown for 1st

2) completion to Garrett for 1st

3) incomplete, thrown away

4) incomplete, thrown away

5) DA overthrows Funchess in the end zone over Worley for would have been a long TD

6) DA scramble for 7 yards

7) Funchess over Coleman to the 3. Coleman lays him out but Funchess boxed him out for the catch. Cam was excite. Lol

8) CMC stuffed. Got caught behind an OL

9) DA behind CMC. No TD. But CMC dived impressively for it

Gilbert runs it in off a bootleg to end red zone drills

Funchess gets behind Worley, can't haul in a pass overthrown by DA for the score.

Funchess had Worley beat by a few feet, pass too far by Anderson

Haven't seen Benjamin since that TD catch.

Funchess comes back a couple plays later with a touchdown on a low throw by Anderson.

Funchess with a nice catch with Coleman draped all over him. Had to go down and get it.

Devin Funchess with a nice TD catch in traffic in a low throw. He is having a nice camp so far.

Goal line carry for 22. Stuffed.

Zach Moore and Mike Adams pick up McCaffrey and carry him behind the LOS on a run play

Funchess with a nice catch in front of Coleman to spot ball at 2-yard line. With 3 seconds left, DA throws behind CMC in end zone.

I think I may have finally heard Luke Kuechly talk smack

Great coverage on a red zone play from the 2. DA can't find anyone finally throws behind CMC incomplete.
