Bersin catches a lot of hate for no reason, but regardless we need speed and options for return men. Byrd was explosive last pre season . There's no way we want Run CMC  out there every time

FWIW - it's more than likely a moot point because they're both going to make it.  Bersin has been a solid contributor on ST, he's now a vet WR, and Hurney has a history of keeping 6 WRs.

He did, but I guess you gotta take the good with the bad with a young guy in preseason. He better not do that again. But he made more plays than all of our receivers last year. Shepherd is gonna take away his shine a little ; just because he is a shiny new toy sorta.

Yes. It's just really starting up. New WR coach likely will have as much of a hand in any different feel to the WR roster as the GM. That's the guy who pleads his case first.

As fast as Byrd is, I just haven't seen it  translate to the field like it did with Ginn.
