the amount one can give wouldn't be a bad idea. we do that with the amount of pie given out. same principle, just make sure people can give out more pie than neg rep.

I'm well aware that as a primary resident of the TB and a conservative my negative rep might very well break any and all records but yes. I want negative rep back.
