Panthers Release Unofficial 2017 Depth Chart. You'll Never Guess Who WR4 Is.

Hopefully that depth chart at Wr and KR change soon.

Fozzy has to be the worst Kick returner in the NFL. If he comes out of the end zone with it. U can go ahead and bet the house we are starting inside the 15 yard line.

And Bersin as the #4 is a cruel joke. We have several wr that have more upside

This team needs speed on the offensive side. We don't need another possession type receiver

Here's my WR prediction.

With Samuel missing so many reps in pre-season, we will keep 6.

KB, Funch, Shepard, Samuel.

That leaves room for 2.  I'd guess Byrd & Bersin at this point, and would expect Bersin would be inactive unless there's an injury to one of the other WRs.  Byrd would be active for returns.

I could totally live with this.

Basically I think our 53rd player would be either WR or LB, as follows:

QB 3 / RB 3 / FB 1 / TE 3 / OL 10 / WR 5 or 6  = Offense 25 or 26

DL 9  /  DBs 9  /  LBs 6 or 7  = Defense 24 or 25

Even with the Corn injury, seeing Sanchez as the #2 is a scary thought.

That's the most inaccurate part of this depth chart, I bellieve.  Based on all reports, Sanchez has totally sunk to the bottom of the pecking order among the DBs.  Got to think Cole Luke is ahead of him,

With Elder's injury CBs may be the biggest question mark on the roster.  Should Corn not play at all in pre-season as seems likely, who do you go with after Bradberry, Worley & Captain?  I'd guess that unless we add a free agent it would be Teddy Williams and Cole Luke. (This is assuming worst case scenario where Elder starts season on IR)  Not happy about that idea at all.  Cole Luke has made plays, but he is a rookie UDFA.  Teddy Willliams is terrible.  Sanchez is worse.  UGH.

I think CB depth is now my biggest concern followed very closely by the situation at LT given Matt Kalil's injury & conditioning.  Amini as LT depth seems better to me than rookie RT Moton as LT depth.  But I don't want to see Amini starting!!!
