Canes Extend Pesce Six Years

The Hurricanes have signed defenseman Brett Pesce to a six-year contract with a salary cap hit of $4.025 million.

The number one pairing of Slavin/Pesce are locked up for under $10 mil for the next 6 years.

This is a very solid signing by RF. I'm loving how he is building this team. Young defensive core that could become elite.  Think if Hanifin has a solid season matches with Faulk we will sign him to a long term contract as well. Now let's get a couple young snipers and some solid goaltending and watch out.
