I make people want to beat me with as much smack as I've talked.

We've had a few nincompoops in the past couple of seasons who didn't set their roster or lost interest (from being beat down), but I went to a three message boards (including here [but no bites]) and explained the situation and we acquired very game opponents. I'm expecting full participation this year, but if not I'll be back on the boards looking for a player or two.

This will be our ninth or tenth year.

Like The League?  That's awesome man.  Wish I was in the League like that.

My SOP is to watch all the pregame crap, then pause the game for about 30 minutes while I make a snack, get a beer, void my bowels, etc. then I fast forward through the commercials until I catch up. This also allows me the benefit of pausing when I need to pee or get another beer, and rewinding over and over when it's obvious that the refs are blind (Cotch caught that pass!) or when something really cool happens. The obvious drawback is that it's not live, so my house goes completely off the grid on Sundays; no phone, no radio, nothing online. I'm generally only a few minutes behind the action.

Nope.  % of game action is still small

Doesn't really matter to me honestly, during football season if the Pnathers are on the road I watch something football related from 9am till 1130pm on Sundays and college football from 9am till 11pm on Saturdays...plus Monday night and Thursday so I get my fill...commercials aee a necessary evil

    • You are wise beyond your years to agree with me.  I think Fields is the free agent with the most upside---I mean, you keep looking until your franchise qb is on the roster-we are all hoping that Bryce will grab it, but he has not yet.
    • he is a sleeper--I am not good at predicting college QBs who succeed in the NFL, but this guy is going to change my luck.  I just think he'd be a good fit here.  4th round, maybe 5th.
