On the CMC ankle breakings...

Most of what you have seen so far has been from 1 on 1 drills in which it is heavily skewed in favor of the running backs. Here is a nice look of how his quicks translate in 11 on 11 drills.

 Notice CMC is already heading up field when both Kuechly and Davis haven't finished changing direction yet. Play was designed to go to the edge where it would likely have been snuffed out. Instead, CMC instantly cut it back inside for a nice three or 4 yard gain.

Imagine if he can do this consistently this season. All of the times the Panthers could have really used 3 or 4 yards instead of a loss. 

All indications point to this kid being a baller at the next level.

I was watching some early/mid-2000s (largely 2003 and 2005) Steve Smith highlights last night and McCaffrey looks to have that exact same burst and shake, if not even a little more. Carolina hasn't had a guy like this in a lonnngggg time...

Great job of covering the ball right before contact as well. Good awareness.
