It's early, I will admit, but like I was trying to explain to @GoobyPls during draft season, there were many people who believed that this guy was a top two back. Character means something. The fact that he has a true pedigree is priceless. He has been wired from a child to be this way. His father was as solid as rock. McCaffrey has football professionalism in his blood.

Why are you mentioning me?

You been here how long? And your still buying into training camp hype LOL. That's why you see me barely commenting in this type of threads, everyone looks like a hall a fame player in training camp

Apparently Fournette is unstoppable in Jacksonville TP, Dalvin Cook is already better than AP in Minny, Kamara is the second coming of Marshall Faulk according to Saints reporters.

You see where I'm getting at....

@top dawg's post didn't mention anything about training camp.

He's making assumption based on training camp.

No. McCaffrey's dedication to football has plenty of evidence to back it up throughout his entire lifetime. There's no assumption in his post.

He probably feels like he's got ground to make up when he had to stay away due to that stupid quarter system requirement. Out of school but can't go to my fun new job. I'm sure it was frustrating. He's also got a lot to learn since they plan to plop him down all over the field.

I think I overlooked this during the pre-draft process when I was vehemently against drafting McC at 8. Excited as hell now.

The only question that I really had about McCaffrey is his size, but not even really that, but "Is his body tough enough to take the rigors of an NFL RB?" I won't really have that answer until the season, but he didn't really have a problem his college career. My other concern, which really wasn't, is his strength, because that's rectified by the weight room. He will get stronger (which should be a very scary proposition for the opposition)!

Nah, not really. Just pointing out why it's easy to understand why CMC has the work ethic that he does, and why he was so high up on a lot of draft boards as compared to some of the others.
