RB Christian McCaffrey Takes No Days Off

If there ever was a Luke Kuechly of the offense, Christian McCaffrey would have to be it.

On his day off, CMC could've spent the day relaxing and doing whatever. However, he chose to instead turn his day off into a day of study.

This kid loves football and yearns to get better. Christian McCaffrey is going to revolutionize this offense to a whole new level.

Honestly, I think he's obsessive compulsive about working out and preparing like Jerry Rice was. I don't know how good that is for him in the long run, but it's awesome for the Panthers and us fans. Hopefully, some of it will rub off on Samuel too. That's not to say that Samuel is lazy or anything. It's just that it's extremely rare for a player as young as CMC or Samuel to be this fanatical about preparation.

I would like to nominate this for the dumbest post on the huddle today.

I think he is going to be a great player but considering he is a rookie and missed the OTAs, he should be doing this no questions asked.

Seriously dude? This kid already has the playbook down pat, as far as I can tell. How many rookies have you seen come in here and play 4-5 different positions without missing a beat?

I'm not taking anything away from him, the kid is going to be good.

Your first week of work at a new job, are you taking a day off as the new guy? Nope.

It's early, I will admit, but like I was trying to explain to @GoobyPls during draft season, there were many people who believed that this guy was a top two back. Character means something. The fact that he has a true pedigree is priceless. He has been wired from a child to be this way. His father was as solid as rock. McCaffrey has football professionalism in his blood.

Yes. I would take the same days off that everybody else has. We're not even talking about a work day here.

I think I overlooked this during the pre-draft process when I was vehemently against drafting McC at 8. Excited as hell now.
