I think this is one of the things that has me so hyped about McCaffrey.  Coaches and veteran players (like Luke) are talking about his incredible dedication and true Pro-level preparation,  In spite of all the time he missed during OTAs, he came in READY.  He shows something special in that area alone...

Having a father who played a long time in the NFL seems to have been very beneficial for him.

Did we ever actually get a real number? I really do have a hard time believing he lost 30 pounds in under 3 months. It's not like he was obese and on the biggest loser, i.e. had easy to lose weight.

Quoted the wrong tweet. Yes, we did:

That's not very definitive though. She's simply tweeting what somebody else reported, which could easily be wrong.

She said he reported at 270. Sounds pretty blunt there.

Whatever the case, KB still lost a lot of weight, which is a very good thing.

Reported by who though? The coaching staff and KB are probably the only one's who knew and they weren't giving out numbers.

KB wil show up this season. #BalledOut

I expect nothing less than a 1200 yard season for KB.

Hes been through a lot this off season. He definitely seen the negative comments about him. He definitely seen guys drafted in his class engaging in contract talks. He knows he need to prove something this season.

1200 seems a bit high, but I like your enthusiasm. I'd be happier than a 2-pettered puppy with 900 yards and double digit TDs. Between him, Fun Fun (I know you're not the biggest fan), Shep, Samuel and CMC, we're gonna have the most talented WR corps in a long time.

Oh give it a rest. He looks great.

Besides, come September you'll be guzzling beer and stuffing greasy food down your throat all in the name of watching grown men pummel each other into the ground. Please spare me your commentary about another man "living it up".

September Hell, I plan to do that stuff for preseason too!

1200 is a bit high? KB was a 1st rounder and highly projected coming out.

He had 1000 yard and 9 td as a rookie. A ROOKIE. He played half ass toward the end of the season last year. And almost still got a 1k season.

A motivated KB should be a 1200-1500 yd WR every year. Especially in todays game.

Oh, I agree that he's definitely capable of it and certainly hope that he get's that many yards (as long as it doesn't come at the expense of the other receivers being ignored). But to "expect nothing less than a 1200 yard season", to me, is a bit high when he's never had one and is surrounded by more weapons than ever.

Just to be clear, you don't have to sing his praises to me, I'm a huge KB fan.
