I just dont really even see the point in being out there if its ok for the defense to take bad angles and not try to be in position. Pads on today. At least go double hand his waist or something. Go full speed. Why go half speed. I dont understand

You can tell in the video TD isn't going all out. His hands are down near his hips to remind him not to have contact.

The guy is in the twilight of his career. I don't think he is interested in any contact that isn't needed. Pretty sure it affects him more than it would CMC.

Do you think TD would've still made the tackle had it been live contact?

Playing against your teammate is still not same as going against the opponent.

BTW McCaffrey should be able to do that against any LB thats why we drafted him to be mismatch nightmare lets see if he does that to Captain.

Yeah but might as well work on good angles and force him outside right? dont need to hit him just two hand touch him. Not knocking TD if thats how the defense is being ran right now but i feel they should be at keast be working on good fundamentals and being at the right place and force good angles. This isnt TD letting up running by him like we saw the other day. This was straight up getting your ankles broke

TD kept him inside where the safety help was. Forcing him outside = touchdown.
