Raiders cut OT Austin Howard

In a move that was basically a salary dump (probably in readiness to give some more money to  Donald Penn who wants more money), The Raiders released RT/RG Austin Howard. The lineman who is coming off injury would probably be an upgrade, or at least provide solid depth, for the Panthers O-line. Of course there is the question of health, but what else is new for us?
