It's also possible I didn't base my comment on either of your statistics, but rather the two years of play I've seen. I'm just not impressed. That's my opinion.

Subjective opinion versus objective statistics....to base your decision on....fabulous

Thee linebackers is not equal to 4-3. Truth be told, we actually play nickel far more than we play 4-3 which is why Wilks said Shaq would be taking reps from Davis.

I disagree we play more base

when you play nickel your essentially removing either DL, LB or S so yeah ...

Nickel is four down, two linebacker ROLES, and Five DB's. With Shaq's versatility, we can move in and out of 4-3 essentially creating a multiple base package.

It's not as simple as the Madden playbook.

I just wish they'd release the kid already.  If they have no intention in keeping him (which they are making obvious that they don't), some team out there has a need for a backup that can average you 4 yards a pop.  Holding him until the final cuts would be a dick move IMO.

IDK injuries happen...

QB - Cam, Anderson, Webb

RB - Stew, Calf, Fozzy

FB - Armah

TE - Olsen, Dickson, Simonsin

RT - Williams

RG - Turner

C - Kalil, R.

LG - Norwell

LT - Kalil, M

WR - Benjamin, Funchess, Samuel, Shep, Duke (in no particular order)

DE - Johnson, Peppers, Hall, Addison (in not particular order)

DT - Can't remember everyone

LB - Kuechly, Davis, Shaq, Mayo not sure beyond that

CB - Bradberry, Williams, Worley, Munnerlyn

Safety - Adams, Coleman, Marlowe

Incomplete but my guess, with some positions in no particular order

so reading this list makes me ask about how Amah looks so far... only saw one mention of him but it was positive...

You would still have 3 LBs on the field only his alignment would be just different . The beauty of having 3 top notch LBs is you can stay in base and not tip off the offense for audible when they see a mismatch.

What could possibly happen is that we take a safety out and put in Captain

That would not be a nickel formation. 5 dbs.....nickel.

My god can we stop this madness. It's like we're saying extra practice with his QB is bad. Maybe we should just tell Cam to stop hosting his WRs in Baltimore because they don't need it.

Nah, it's not that at all.

It's just making fun of the people who were being stupid about it.

Not really cause in true nickel you replace a LB to have 5th defensive back in this scenario you just replace bigger secondary member with a slightly smaller one you would still have only 4 DBs

Nickel = 5

Ok, Funchess had less yards and the same amount of TDs in his first two seasons as Benjamin did in his rookie year. Is that a objective stat?

I'm only calling it like I see it. You can continue to write snarky comments, if you like. Funchess underwhelms me. That's my subjective opinion.

starting to think Sanchez is Gett's biggest whiff.  5th rounder at a position of extreme need and he couldn't even make the team.

You make it sound like he was a 1st rounder dude. Once you start getting past the 3rd round the draft largely turns into a crapshoot. If you get lucky and get a hit, good, if not, oh well and move on.
