I think this is Shepard's big break out opportunity for WR and I think he has the mentality that he wants to show everyone he's not just some special teams ace. He's probably been itching for the chance for decent WR snaps in a game and if all goes well he could be our #2 or #3 . Since we have Samuel and McCaffrey I'm guessing Shepard will mosly be on the outside .

Yeah, if Ted Ginn and Philly Brown could shine in this offense, he can to. It's there for the taking.

Wonder when the organization will get serious about getting a successor to Olsen. Nothing but stopgaps and subpar benchriders so far. We are fuged if Olsen gets seriously injured. I think the team is taking his penchant for staying healthy for granted and using it as an excuse to ignore the future of the position.
