Pack it up guys. I'm getting hyped about a no-pad training camp practice. Apparently I'm not allowed to do that.

McCaffrey sucks. I'm sorry.

Well this is the exact opposite end of the spectrum. I'm one of the proponents of taking a middle ground approach. I'm usually cautiously optimistic about any sort of camp/pre season performance until I actually see it done in real games. Dak Prescott last year , I ate my crow big time . I was one of the haters when people wouldnt get off his nuts in pre season last year lol.

If I was looking for an agent, I'd hire Saca

Agreed, complete homer, and will take up for you even if you suck.  Funchess and Worley should give him a call.  He'll pull some "facts" from a random website out of his ass and show the GM.  "Look at how great Worley did in this play.  The Panthers were down 20, but hey, he tackled a guy 10 yards past the line of scrimmage.  Beast!"  Or for Funchess "look at Funchess find a way to stay close to the corner here.  Do you not know how hard that is to do?  Who needs separation?  Not Funchess!  You need a guy like Funchess on your team.  Every team needs a ghost on the field."

I hope he kicks major ass in the NFL, but all this hype is nuts. I doubt he will make half the plays in the NFL that he made in college.

I remember people saying the same thing about cam. I even said the same thing at one point about kuechly prior to him being drafted.

Whelp...those two showed their naysayers wrong. I see McCaffrey being that caliber of player. The kind that plays at an elite level on whatever field he finds himself on.

Yeah....I'm sold.

Ya'll need to take CMC dic out your mouths right now. Wait before you crown him. LOL I love being a panther fan but some how many fans over hype our players beyond the moon

Dick out your mouths is that really necessary? Saca is pumped that our first pick is looking good in a no-contact drill, however misguided it might be, but we don't need to be out right disrespectful to each other.

To be fair, Saca is pumped about every player.  He would've found something positive about Sione Fua, if he would've been around here back then.  "According to "film", it's not Fua that's playing bad.  It's everybody around him.  He just needs more reps.  According to PFF he ranked really high on the getting a push in his rectum scale.   Therefore, I see him being an absolute monster at DT this coming season."  The Thread would be titled "Sione Fua, Hall of Famer DT in the making."

That's why I said Saca may be misguided but he contributes in a thought out manner more than 90% of us here.

When people want to debate that's fine but when we say get a mans dick out of your mouth it leads people to go to other forums to talk Panther football.

Its just not necessary.

That's understandable.

Well if people are honestly taking any thread I make of a highlight of a player during training camp as straight up analysis, then that's their problem.

He was right. That comment was uncalled for and unnecessary. CMC has been killing it in everything, as far as I can tell. The players are all saying it too. Go watch the interviews at Panthers.com. J-Stew just said that there's not a player in the league who can cover him one on one.

Some of you guys that are so down on CMC's likely impact on our offense are probably the same naysayers who were doubting Luke's prospects about a third of the way into his rookie year...when he was already at the top of the charts in tackles. End result: DROY. Then it was, yeah, but he sucks in coverage. See later, Thanksgiving day in DFW.

Sure, CMC will take a few hard licks, probably right in the middle of one of his already signature stutter steps. He may even hit an ugly stretch/rookie wall. However, when you have a guy with the athletic genes and pedigree (generations long) that he has, coupled with miles of spectacular in game highlight tape, topped off by the recent, genuine comments, and the tape of him "breaking the ankles" this weekend, of arguably the very best linebacker trio in the NFL (yes, I'm including Shaq now when teamed with 58/59), then the smart money says that if he only reaches half of his anticipated potential, he's still going to be a living nightmare for half the defensive coordinators we face this year. Bet on it! I'm thinking this kid has a great shot at being the offensive version of Luke.
