Is the coaching staff at fault?

Is it really Jakes fault? Is Jarrett really a bust? Or does this offense only allow for quarterback and wide reciever suicide? This offense is not a pass friendly offense and yet we consistently have been throwing 30 or more times a game... and yet theres no production really from our tes, moose, or our number 3 wide reciever! Is it really Delhomme whos at fault here or is it poorly designed plays which more then enough times truly have nobody open? From all of last season through this season the passing game is never fluid. The last 4 games we have played in dating back to the Arizona game it feels as if we run the ball about 12-14 times a game, and in an article I read fox says that you have to go with the flow of the game for run to pass ratio... No Fox if you consider yourself a power run team you run the ball from start to finish weather its 2 yards a carry or 6 yards a carry... we should be running the ball at least 25 times a game. So to me this offensive scheme has lead to the breakdown of Jake, the loss of production from our wrs except smitty, and the inability to consistently get guys open because the plays being called our so simple, atrocious, and easily covered. You cant have Jake throw the ball away 20 times a game if nobodys open can we?

My guess is they bare a large part of it because they had a large hand in picking most of these players and are the ones getting them ready to play the schemes Fox wants. Fox picked the assistant coaches to implament his scheme and if it ain't working then who is to blame? There is enough blame to go around for everyone on this team. This team is not ready to play anyone. It hasn't been ready since the bye week last year, with the exception of the Bucs game on Monday night.

ultimately it's the coach and GM's fault.

the GM's job is to make sure that the org. has the right personnel. if they don't and aren't doing their job (winning games) then he probably doesn't have the right personnel. it's his job to make sure they ahve the right players on the team and the right coaches to manage the players.

the HC has to be able to take what players he is given (or lobbied for) and make them win. he has to have the right assistants to help make that possible. if the team isn't achieving the only goal that matters (winning) then he isn't doing his job.

it's a bad musician who blames his instrument.
