DG adopted a better crop of players than Hurney did but with major salary cap issues.

Hurney's second go round has adopted a much greater crop of players with a workable salary cap and a young core. DG had a five year plan to create a solid core while handling the cap. DG added almost as many quality players in 4 years as Hurney did in 11. Both had a tough job to do, DG did it much better.

Overall Hurney had the harder job, Dg's job was only difficult coming into the 2013 season. Fox wasn't such a great coach imo, king of conservative HC. Dg got a MVP qb, that really kills the question right off bat. But dg job wasn't as easy, I do believe he did a lot of things to make his job harder, then would turn around and recover the following year.
