Just shut up. The only person who came to your defense, you attacked. If you want to read real content get an AllPro.

I said you were an idiot and you posted bullshit

He said what I posted was the same intelligence level as you. Ergo, he was in no way defending me.

I don't know if I'd call that "likely".

Koncz was here long before Gettleman and spent a lot longer working with Hurney. Gettleman promoted him, but so did Hurney.

It's a theory, but not one that necessarily has a lot of evidence...at least not yet.

If there weren't dissent among the ranks then why fire him right after you got rid of Gettleman. The most likely explanation is that this was the best time to clean up and replace those who opposed Richardson or who he felt weren't doing their job. Didn't Gettleman promote him recently.

I have been trapped in the Tinderbox talking Trump.  Decided it was time to return to some talk about more normal and sane things.

Sees this...Hurneyworld

I think I'll just hang out in the Lovely Ladies section.  Appears to be the only safe space.

It is very simple. Gettleman was disrupting Jerry's Good Ole Boys Club. He bit the bullet on Gross and Smith because of how bad it would look if he meddled so early into the Gettleman hiring and after a playoff appearance.

The way Josh Norman was handled definitley crushed him, but how could he justify firing Gettleman after a 15-1 Super Bowl appearance season.

They fell to 6-10 this year and Jerry clearly wasn't happy. He finally found an opportunity to meddle and he jumped all over it.

Voth reported earlier in the offseason that Gettleman was under strict orders to spend money this offseason. This offseason was not a Gettleman offseason at all and looking back at it you can now see Jerry's fingerprints all over it.

Matt Kalil-the brother of one of Jerry's favorite players.

Julius Peppers-former Panther

Captain Munnerlyn-former Panther

Both Christian McCaffrey and Curtis Samuel are not Dave Gettleman type players. It was widely reported how much Jerry Richardson fell in love with Christian during his pre-draft visit. I have no doubt in my mind if Richardson didn't meddle, this offseason would have been much different.

The final straw was Thomas Davis (forget Greg Olsen). Davis is Richardson's favorite player on the team. The two players he is closest to are Charles Johnson and Thomas Davis, this is a fact. Don't downplay how the Charles Johnson contracts of the past two season played a role in this as well. He knew how popular Davis was with this fan base and how after a 6-10 disappointing season, he could get away with making the change now.

To the credit of the majority of this fan base, the idiot was wrong, and people are pissed. To the minority who support this move, it is just a shame. They will forever be Jerry Richardson shills who are willing to put up with mediocrity as long as their hero is running the team. As I've said in past threads, as we continue to mature as a fan base, mediocrity will no longer be accepted and fans like that will be weeded out.

Ownership like this isn't accepted in big markets. Teams would never get away with this in Boston, Philly, or NY. Accountability is demanded by the fans and the media, something this city is in dire need of.

Many here say this was Gettleman-god's best offseason...
