Richardson is the owner, and, Lord willing, will be the owner until he sells the team to Mark Cuban :)! I've come to think that J-Rich is an old, surly, cheapskate of a curmudgeon, but I don't in any way think that he's not mentally competent. In fact, he has to have some type of intelligence considering all that he has achieved, and he didn't just get stupid overnight. 
Deal with it!

If JR doomed us to decades of mediocrity I'd still respect the man's commitment to the Carolinas forever. There are few owners in all of sports who care as much about their home as he does.
