No I don't know what's going on. That's a very large part of the problem. Like I said in another post, I hope JR has some brilliant plan that us mere mortals can't comprehend yet, but can you point to anything from the past that would suggest such a thing?

Hurney had 25 draft picks in his last 3 drafts (2010-2012) and only 5 are left in the league and 6 of his last 32 draft picks. That's 18% success rate in the draft.

I don't know if I'd call that "likely".

Koncz was here long before Gettleman and spent a lot longer working with Hurney. Gettleman promoted him, but so did Hurney.

It's a theory, but not one that necessarily has a lot of evidence...at least not yet.
