Tennessee - I know why you're bad.

So the players just gave up? Fire them all!

No. Most players in the NFL are professionals who give their all every game. Peppers is a notable exception. The point is that it must be deflating to know your team isn't as good as the year before. Guys like Beason and Deangelo won't say it but they know it.

Another parallel is that Collins has largely been mediocre or bad this year and yet he gotten a vote of confidence from his HC. I know Young is a head case but he should have gotten some reps when they're getting blown out by a marginal Jacksonville team. Like others here, I think you give Moore a few starts and see if it creates a spark. Banging our heads against a wall with the same personnel is not going to yield different results.

Does Dave mind you watching him sleep at night? Found anything good in his trash yet?

I really thought we had a shot at getting him as DC here this past season given that Fox knew him from their NFC East days and he seemed prime for another shot. Went with Meeks instead though. Pretty much given up on that idea now.

I was also surprised the Titans gave the DC job to Cecil instead. Was even more shocked when Cecil backed off the Steelers in the last half of week one (doesn't coach like he played, does he?)

I was joking!! :)

But if they basically have the same players as the year before, why are those same players not as good?

What they need is the same results as last year with the same players. Not different. What they have is different, terrible but different.

I put that more on the players not the coaches.
