The problem is that fans will expect their team to keep winning even after they win a SB, so the salary cap issue will still be a big deal.

I would like to have that problem--maintaining the cap after a Super Bowl win.

Jesus, I mean every word in that statement is a lie, except  "Hurney Sucks".

Wow. It's like he expects nobody to remember any of that and didn't own up to the position he put this team in...

He said all that matters is wins... .498

Just remember the salary cap under Hurney went down his last four years on the team, while under Gettleman it exploded by over 44 million.

That's be a good argument, except neither of those things actually happened.

The cap, year by year since Hurney first got the job:

2016     $155.27 million
2015     $143.28 million
2014     $133 million
2013     $123 million
2012     $120.6 million
2011     $120 million
2010     Uncapped
2009     $123 million
2008     $116 million
2007     $109 million
2006     $102 million
2005     $85.5 million
2004     $80.582 million
2003     $75.007 million
2002     $71.101 million

The cap from 2013 to 2016 (The Gettleman years) went up by around 35 million.  Over Hurney's time at GM, it increased by almost 50 million.  And that's not even counting the uncapped year.

So yeah, you know, facts and all...
