And that Lukaku to you... missing wide open side from 6 yards. Lol.  Ibra would have banged that in

Anecdotal -- stats (of the official sort, not ones you've invented to 'prove' your point) say Zlatan is far more profligate.

Conversion rates are independent of minutes played.

Lukaku scored every 132 minutes or something and Ibra scored every 141 minutes.  Something very similar.  Lukaku scored almost all his goals from the box and Ibra scored 25% from outside the box. They scored the same percentage of headers 24% or something.

Per minute ratio is more dependent on team support (of which Lukaku received less) than is goals per chance (conversion rate). And yes, Zlatan is a bigger threat from outside the box. Doesn't mean he's more potent overall.

Good idea getting away from gross stats after your "1 against top 10" flub, though.

Lukaku was the guy in Everton...  He's an option in United.  See how wide open he just was?  No one even bothered to pick him up...  but that's Crystal Palace D tho so who knows

Not really sure what point you’re trying to make, but yes he now has less attention than he did at Everton (and now roughly the same amount as Zlatan did). He’s responded by scoring a goal a game in the league, and at an even more impressive clip in Europe, both higher than Zlatan managed. And last year, with all the attention, he was likewise more prolific.

Lost in all this discussion of Rom vs. Ibra, is the fact that United have both this season. So even if you were right about Zlatan being superior, they now will have two class striking options by Christmas. To my original point, clear upgrade.

And to my point, we shall see how it will workout for you guys.
