Good. I want him to get paid. The guy sacrificed his health, possibly long term, for the Panthers. He deserves to be paid.

At the end of the day, he was the starting LT for the best team this franchise has ever fielded and I hope that's the way most fans will remember him.

I think some fans have underestimated how good he really was for us too. I was very comfortable with him protecting Cam's blind side.

For a second I thought, "well I guess we are still stuck with Remmers...oh wait, we have Matt Kalil now! That's better....wait is that better?.."

Well he was 1st round pick for a reason. He's pretty darn good when he's healthy and we most definitely have a good O-line coach.

I would imagine calling out the "people downstairs" responsible for GMan's release on Twitter expedited this a bit.

It's probably safe to say it didn't help.

Also, I have a feeling Oher already saw the writing on the wall when he crafted that post.

I honestly doubt it. This always seemed like the inevitable conclusion of this situation.

I agree. GMAN had and him were close and I think he wanted to see if anything was possible if Oher wanted to try. I don't think it's always the most dramatic explanation.
