I don't know what you've been watching but Gettleman's PC's were informative and entertaining, IMO. I have looked forward to his post draft pressers since the first one.

I follow all 4 sports religiously. In all the years I've followed those sports Gettleman is the only person I made sure I heard every single word of every single time he spoke. His press conferences were must listen. He couldn't have been more informative. He never BSd and always had something funny to say. No clue what you're talking about.

Gettleman found more consistent players then hurney but hurney found more elite players . take it as you want but id rather have the elite players then good players 

Regardless of any hate, that is the comparison that matters most. And Hurney traded a 3rd rounder for Olsen who is elite. Best trade in franchise history hands down.

The only reason Carolina got Cam is because the Panthers were the worst team in the NFL the previous year.   That's the sort of results Marty Hurney delivers when he is put in charge.

Still had to have the balls and conviction to draft Cam. It's a no brainer in retrospect but in 2011 there were people who thought Cam was going to be a bust and thought Gabbert was the better choice

Cam wasn't a sure thing and Hurney and JR made the right call no doubt about it.

What led the Panthers to having the first pick in the draft is something Hurney, JR and their supporters need to own as well.

JR had made some questionable decisions through the years, but when he whipped out his pie chart it dawned on me that he was a bit of an odd duck and more than a little bit out of touch with the times.

Tanking a season then signing the core of a 2-14 team to record breaking deals confirmed the inmates were running the asylum at BOA Stadium.

This week's events demonstrate the inmates are back with a vengeance after a four year hiatus.
