Good!

Im hoping Hurney has heard all the talk (being in the media) about weapons, wide receivers and protecting Cam.

Outside perspective is good right now. There are still holes in this roster that gettleman was clearly content going into the season with.

Maybe they'll start exploring the idea of Shaq at SS if we're bringing back Davis. He'll obviously need to lose weight but I was psyched when we drafted Shaq because I figured that was the plan all along

It seems there's a lot of effort being put out by the team to portray Hurney as a hard ass.  They're clearly aware of the fan perception.

If that's the case, they need to take down his presser from yesterday.

Yeah. I could get on board with that.

He never quite got into the hybrid role I always saw him at. Maybe that will change under Wilks.

Yeah that can't be said yet. I really want to like Funchess but thats really not close to true....hopefully it will be!

I see why this is enticing but on the surface I don't like this.  As I recall Fox fugged with TD early moving him between S and LB and IMO it hampered his progression.  Shaq is a dynamic LB now that just needs to get more snaps.  He will naturally get there as Davis transitions to retirement.
