As a Bears fan for 25+ years, I've had more than a few opportunities for "fun bad".

I can't exactly explain fun bad. It is theater. It is tragicomedy. But I don't know how to explain how it is different from just "bad", but it is different.

I still stand behind my statement that the Panthers will have a better remainder of the season and will finish somewhere around 9-7. And will beat the Redskins. Likely joining what I call the amorphous blob of NFL teams right around .500. So not fun bad.

Maybe too much cough medicine today.

you shouldn't do this

there are plenty of reasons to watch a bad team. You get to see tons of young players, you don't have any expectations, every victory is a nice little surprise, and without the blinders of cheering for a competitive team you get to enjoy the totality of the NFL.
