Thread will probably be moot one Gettleman is rehired as a road scout for this organization after no one else wants anything to do with his poisonous ass. 

That said, a lot of people here need a new team to root for, 'cause they're bigger fans of FUPA than they are of the Panthers.

Wasn't saying you specifically on the Super Bowl part but a lot of the others who are on the Gettleman bashing side, and not just on this website, were saying garbage like that. I will never have another favorite team.  I only watch Panther games at this point so I would not know where to start.

I could forsee a time where I stopped watching the sport completely though.  It happened for me when hockey cancelled a season.

The almost worship like following that Gettleman has here on the huddle is just another manifestation of the long seen anti-player pro ownership/front office mindset that was on full embarrassing display by Panthers fans here during the lockout. These fans are the worst.

You can support Gettleman and support the players. Those two aren't mutually exclusive. I dont think you'll find many people on here that are pro ownership now that Jerry has shown his cards and that he wants to meddle in the GM duties

I will keep a eye on the Bills.  But won't root for a team this year. Will see if the Panthers can right the ship and hire a GM not named Hurney.
